A Lot Going on the Next Few Days

The cycling season has announced its presence with mild sunny days, temperatures nearing 80F (11 Centograms for you Metrics) and enough riding events to satisfy even the most reluctant cyclist young and not-so-young.  Two Wheel Transit is top tube deep in events the next two weeks so let's get started:

Free Kids Bike Safety Fair and Bike Rodeo (Ages 10 and Under)
Saturday, May 4, 1:00 - 4:00pm 

At Two Wheel Transit Bicycles

817 S. Perry Street, Suite C


Join Two Wheel Transit and Gonzaga Cycling Club for an afternoon of bicycle safety instruction and practice, bike safety inspections and skills-building activities.

There are also rumors of a smoking-hot medical provider manning the First-Aid Tent at this event!

40+ Mile Road Ride - 9 AM Sunday, May 5 Starting and Ending at Revel 77 Coffee on 57th Avenue.  This will be a more challenging distance and course to Rockford, WA so bring your road bike (or 45 pound mountain bike if you are mechBgon)

Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Race - You guessed it - Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30 PM.  ALL JUNIORS RACE FREE this night! Two Wheel Transit is the Race Sponsor this Night and We are paying the race fee for any junior who shows-up to race this Wednesday.  Riverside State Park Airstrip.

Thursday Night Shop Ride, May 9th 6:15 PM - in Collaboration with Manito Tap House. This is now our weekly evening Ride which starts and ends at the Manito Tap House on South Grand.  A great ride with varied routes and speeds for all types of riders - typically runs about 1 1/2 hours.

NEW!  Saturday Morning Shop Rides Starting May 11th at 8:15 AM - in Collaboration with Manito Tap House. This is now our weekly Weekend Ride which starts and ends at the Manito Tap House on South Grand.  A longer ride than our Thursday evening rides with varied routes and speeds for all types of riders - typically runs about 2 1/2 hours.  

There will also be a short clinic on the basics of bike mechanics from 8:15 to 8:30 this Saturday.
